Tip: Don’t try to learn all shortcuts at once. For example, all shortcuts in section “Interactions” are also available from the Object context menu (right click on any component), and their respective shortcuts are listed there as well, so you can learn them over time. As a starting point, we have highlighted a few shortcuts we believe are worth learning right away in yellow.

Editing

When working on your game (editing it, not playing it), it can take a lot of time to navigate around the component structure in the menu bar on the left. The following shortcuts make this navigation a breeze:

Edit the Component of the currently selected Object C
Edit the Variant of the currently selected Object V
Edit the selected Object
(useful to enter precise x/y location coordinates to nicely align objects) O

Viewing

Selecting Objects

Action Shortcut
Select all Objects of the same Component type within a Container or on the current Surface Ctrl + A
Select all Objects in a pile Double Click
Add Objects of the same type to a selection Shift+ Click
Un-Select all selected Objects Esc / Click somewhere else

Interactions

You can also perform most of the below interactions by right-clicking an Object and selecting the interaction.
